It’s 2:07am and I can’t sleep.
While trying to count sheep, my mind started wandering and I began to think about all of the future projects sitting on my dining room table. (I’ve heard some people use the dining room table to serve food on. Not me.) Then, all of a sudden it hit me.
I got so excited and wanted to start working on this particular project immediately. Unfortunately, I couldn’t. It was 2:21am and nothing was open. Plus, I’m pretty sure the neighbors would have frowned if I had fired up the mitre saw at that time.
So, I laid back down in bed and made a mental list of everything I’d need for the project. (Half of which will be forgotten by morning.)
It was then and there I had decided that I needed a creative outlet for those ideas. (An outlet that power tools aren’t plugged into.) So, that’s how Too Inspired To Sleep came to fruition.
